History
Franklin Builders was started by Gary Peterson in 1964. Gary and his business partner at the time lived off of Franklin Street, which is how we got our name! The business started as commercial framing and general construction. Mike Jackson started as an apprentice to work along side his father in law Gary, right out of high school! Mike brought along the custom cabinetry side of the business and taught those quality craftsmanship skills to his sons Mikey and Matt.

Thank you for visiting our page. Our Family Business has continued to allow us to develop our talents and provide excellent projects that our clients will enjoy for years to come. Franklin Builders centers our family business on the strong values in which it was created. We know we are only as good as our respected clients say. Our goal is to create a structure that will not only leave a lasting impact, but inspire us to continually grow and learn as carpenters. Mike Jackson offers over 40 years of expertise in all areas of our business. Mike started with the company in 1977. Mike works along with his two sons, Mikey and Matt. Mikey provides over 25 years of knowledge executing most of the cabinet builds at our shop in Fridley. Matt offers more than 20 years of professional experience in new and existing residential construction fields. We hope you enjoy viewing our projects as much as we have had the pleasure to work along with our amazing homeowners and clients.
